Ross O'Carroll-Kelly's highly acclaimed stage show, 'The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger' ended its second run, after six weeks of full houses at the Olympia in Dublin and a week at the Opera House in Cork. Rory Keenan picked up the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2007 Irish Theatre Awards for his portrayal of Ronan in the show.
"Paul Howard's fanatastic aptitude for dialogue allows the characters to come across on stage as they do on paper... The execution of Howard's material may be almost perfect at the hands of director Jimmy Fay and his five-strong cast."
"The best comedy show of the year."
The Evening Herald
"Paul Howard has brought his character, Ross O'Carroll-Kelly, to the stage triumphantly in a wickedly funny play."
Irish Mail on Sunday
The Irish Independent
"Rory Nolan is the ledge writ large, his stiff quiff and forward-thrusting pelvic swagger the very perma-tanned essence of post-pubescent petulance that defines Ross. Ronan (is) brought to life in a brilliant piece of characterisation by Rory Keenan... A slick drama... Mall Teasers and Rugger Huggers will be riveted from the opening to the closing gag."
